Empty Nest Actress Dinah Manoff was born in New York, N.Y. on January 25th 1958. She made her debut in a 1976 episode of Welcome Back, Kotter. She later starred again with John Travolta in Grease in 1978. In 1980 she starred with Mary Tyler Moore in Ordinary People. She starred with Winona Ryder in Welcome Home, Roxy Carmichael in 1990. She is best known though as Carol Weston in Empty Nest which was a spin-off of The Golden Girls.
