Actress Lisa Whelchel was born in Fort Worth, Texas on May 29th 1963. She first appeared on Television in 1977 on The New Mickey Mouse Club. In 1979 she was cast in the role for which she is best remembered, as Blair Warner on The Facts of Life. The Facts of Life also starred Nancy Mckeon and ran until 1988. She retired after Facts of Life and became a born again Christian. Lisa Whelchel is now married with three children and has written many successful books on child-rearing and religion.
