Actress Katey Sagal was born in Los Angeles, CA on January 19th 1957. Her career began in music singing back-up for Bob Dylan, Bette Midler and others, she has released several solo albums of recent. Her television debut was in the 1971 tv-movie The Failing of Raymond. In 1985 she appeared in the short-lived Mary Tyler Moore series "Mary". In 1987 she was cast in her most memorable role as the Matriarch of the dysfunctional Bundy household on Married ...With Children. She has also recently starred on the sitcom 8 Simple Rules For Dating My Teenage Daughter with the late John Ritter.
