Actress and singer, Jessica Simpson was born July 10th, 1980 in Abilene, Texas. In 1999 she released her debut album Sweet Kisses. She also auditioned for a role on The New Mickey Mouse Club which would have seen her star with Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears, but she was rejected. She starred in the movie The Dukes of Hazzard as Daisy Duke, a role made famous on the small screen by Catherine Bach. The Dukes of Hazzard also starred Lynda Carter of Wonder Woman fame. Jessica Simpson is the older sister of 7th Heaven actress Ashlee Simpson. She was briefly married to 98 Degrees Singer Nick Lachey.
