Actress Sara Gilbert was born Sara Abeles on January 29th 1975 in Santa Monica, CA. She is the sister of Little House On The Prairie star and Screen Actors Guild president Melissa Gilbert. Her first tv appearance was in the 1984 movie, Calamity Jane. She starred with Drew Barrymore in Riding in Cars with Boys Sara Gilbert is a lesbian and is currently dating Allison Adler. She is best known for playing Darlene Conner on the Roseanne Barr sitcom Roseanne. Her grandfather was The Honeymooners co-creator Harry Crane.
