Actress Lucille Ball was born in Celoron, New York on August 6th 1911 and died April 26th 1989. Her first movie appearance was in The Bowery in 1933. It was only a bit part but success came quickly and she made 3 other movies that year. Though she made more than a hundred movies she is still best known as Lucy Ricardo from I Love Lucy. Lucille Ball and her newborn son appeared on the cover of the first ever TV Guide when the editor stole a picture from husband Desi Arnaz's office. Her last major performance was the TV movie Stone Pillow with Daphne Zuniga. She appeared in numerous specials with fellow contemporaries such as Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Meadows.
