Amongst her relatives are such legends as Lionel Barrymore, Ethel Barrymore and John Barrymore. She hit the big time when she starred in the Steven Spielberg classic E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial in 1982, but her first role was on the T.V. Movie Suddenly Love in 1978. She starred in the movie Riding In Cars With Boys with Sara Gilbert of Roseanne and with Nicole Kidman in Batman Forever 1995. In 2003 she starred in Charlie's Angels with Cameron Diaz and Demi Moore.
